About the Role

DeepL is rapidly scaling its operations, and the Solution Consulting (Pre-Sales) team is a critical technical cornerstone of its GTM strategy and customer engagement. As a member of this founding global function, you will specialize in DeepL's pioneering Agentic AI tool, DeepL Agent. You will partner with Account Executives as a product expert and strategic advisor, ensuring all technical customer requirements are met while defining the "zero-to-one" playbook for advanced AI workflows. This is a high-impact role with significant opportunity to shape the future of DeepL Agent, an autonomous AI coworker designed to execute complex business workflows by reasoning, planning, and interacting with digital tools like a human. It integrates into enterprise systems to automate tasks from CRM updates to invoice processing, maintaining language precision and security.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a primary consultant to prospects and clients, architecting their vision for DeepL Agent solutions and ensuring a seamless alignment between our high-level business goals and our technical capabilities.
- GTM Partnership: Collaborate deeply with Sales and Account Executives to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, translating deep technical insights into strategic business outcomes and ROI.
- Solution Design & Evangelism: Develop and deliver high-impact product presentations, tailored demos, and custom prototypes that showcase the unique value proposition of DeepL Agent.
- Technical Validation: Own the end-to-end technical evaluation process - from scoping and executing high-stakes Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to leading workshops and responding to technical RFPs.
- Cross-Functional Feedback Loop: Serve as the "voice of the market" by distilling field insights for our Product and Marketing teams, directly influencing the product roadmap and future Agentic capabilities.
- Ecosystem Integration: Simplify complex technical architectures into clear, actionable insights, ensuring stakeholders understand exactly how DeepL integrates into their existing enterprise tech stack.
- Internal Enablement: Develop and manage the toolkit for success, including training resources and dashboards that keep our global Sales and Customer teams ahead of the curve on emerging product features.
- Long-term Advocacy: Foster enduring client partnerships through continuous technical engagement - both remote and on-site - to ensure high satisfaction and the long-term adoption of our AI solutions.
Requirements
- Proven Solutions Expertise: Extensive experience in client-facing Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solution Consulting within a high-growth AI or SaaS environment.
- Agentic AI Literacy: Technical fluency in LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, and AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGPT) with the ability to articulate the business value of autonomous workflows.
- Transferable Domain Knowledge: Experience architecting or selling complex solutions in Generative AI, RPA/Automation, Data Cloud, API Management, or DevOps tooling.
- Strategic Execution: A track record of leading complex technical deployments and managing diverse stakeholders through hands-on customer evaluations and RFIs/RFPs.
- Security & Compliance Savvy: Comfortable navigating IT security questionnaires and positioning Agentic AI within the specific regulatory and cultural landscape of the EMEA region.
- Exceptional Communication: Capable of translating "black box" AI concepts into simple, persuasive narratives for everyone from technical leads to C-suite executives.
- Founding Mindset: A "zero-to-one" mentality—you are energized by a scale-up environment where you are actively building the playbook, navigating ambiguity, and adapting to a fast-moving market.
