About the Role
Develop software for processing Lidar data and building and maintaining high-definition (HD) maps crucial for autonomous vehicle localization and planning. This role involves working with large datasets and advanced geometric algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithms for Lidar point cloud processing, filtering, and registration.
- Develop tools and pipelines for creating and updating HD maps.
- Integrate mapping solutions with localization and planning modules.
- Ensure map accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
- Work with large-scale geospatial data.
Requirements
- Experience with Lidar data processing and 3D geometry.
- Familiarity with mapping concepts for autonomous vehicles.
- Proficiency in C++ and relevant geometric libraries.
- Understanding of data structures for large-scale maps.
Qualifications
Experience with SLAM, graph optimization, or cloud-based mapping infrastructure.
