About the Role
Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to accurately predict the future behavior of other road users (e.g., vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists) in the autonomous vehicle's operating environment. This role is vital for proactive and safe decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and train deep learning models for multi-modal behavior prediction.
- Work with large datasets of driving behavior and sensor data.
- Deploy and optimize prediction models for real-time performance.
- Evaluate model accuracy and robustness in various scenarios.
- Collaborate with behavior planning and perception teams.
Requirements
- Strong background in machine learning and deep learning, especially for sequence prediction or time-series data.
- Experience with behavior prediction in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or related domains.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Familiarity with data processing and feature engineering for ML models.
Qualifications
Experience with generative models, uncertainty estimation, or explainable AI for prediction.
