About the Role
Focus on developing and deploying advanced visual odometry (VO) systems for accurate and robust autonomous vehicle localization. This role involves leveraging computer vision and deep learning techniques to estimate vehicle motion from camera data.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement visual odometry algorithms.
- Integrate VO modules into the overall localization and autonomous driving stack.
- Evaluate system performance and robustness across various environmental conditions.
- Work with camera calibration, feature detection, and tracking.
- Collaborate closely with sensor fusion and perception teams.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in computer vision, particularly in visual odometry or SLAM.
- Experience with camera-based localization techniques.
- Proficiency in C++ and relevant computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks for vision tasks.
Qualifications
Experience with multi-camera systems, fisheye lenses, or real-time embedded vision.
