About the Role
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior SoC Design Engineer to join our highly innovative team, responsible for the design and integration of complex Systems-on-Chip (SoCs) that power NVIDIA's industry-leading products. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining the architecture, micro-architecture, and RTL design of various SoC components, including CPU subsystems, interconnects, and peripheral interfaces. You will collaborate closely with chip architects, verification teams, and physical design engineers to ensure the successful integration and delivery of high-performance, power-efficient, and robust SoCs. Your responsibilities will involve leading technical aspects of design, driving design reviews, and contributing to overall SoC development methodology. Responsibilities
- Define and develop SoC architectures and micro-architectures
- Perform RTL design and integration of complex digital blocks
- Lead technical aspects of SoC design projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, verification, physical design)
- Conduct design reviews and contribute to design methodology improvements
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in SoC design and integration
- Expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL design
- Strong understanding of CPU/GPU architectures, memory systems, and interconnects
- Experience with multi-clock domain designs and power-aware design techniques
Qualifications
- Familiarity with industry-standard protocols (e.g., AMBA, PCIe, DDR)
- Knowledge of low-power design and verification methodologies
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Tcl)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
