About the Role
NVIDIA is looking for a passionate Intern Software Engineer to join our Security team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of robust security features and infrastructure for NVIDIA's diverse product portfolio, including GPUs, AI platforms, and cloud services. You will work on challenging problems related to secure software development, cryptographic implementations, vulnerability analysis, and building tools to enhance the overall security posture of our systems. This is a hands-on role where you will apply your software engineering skills to real-world security challenges, collaborating with experienced security engineers and researchers. You will gain valuable experience in a critical and rapidly evolving field, learning about the latest security threats and mitigation techniques, and contributing to the protection of NVIDIA's innovations and customer data.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of secure software components
- Assist in implementing and testing cryptographic modules
- Participate in vulnerability analysis and penetration testing
- Develop tools and scripts for security automation
- Collaborate with security experts on various projects
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
- Familiarity with fundamental security concepts (e.g., cryptography, secure coding practices)
- Understanding of operating systems and networking basics
Qualifications
- Experience with security tools (e.g., static analysis, dynamic analysis)
- Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques
- Familiarity with Linux security features
- Previous coursework or projects in cybersecurity
