About the Role
This principal-level role leads the research and development of cutting-edge generative AI models for novel applications. The engineer will architect and implement large-scale generative models, contribute to foundational AI research, and guide strategic initiatives in the generative AI space.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced generative AI models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, Transformers, Diffusion Models).
- Conduct research into novel generative architectures and training methodologies.
- Develop scalable infrastructure for training and deploying large generative models.
- Mentor and technically lead a team of ML engineers and researchers.
- Drive the strategic direction of generative AI capabilities within the organization.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on generative AI.
- Expert in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX) and large-scale model training.
- Proven track record of significant contributions to generative AI research and production systems.
- Strong publication record in top-tier ML conferences.
Qualifications
- Experience with multimodal generative models.
- Leadership experience in AI research teams.
- Patents or significant open-source contributions in generative AI.
