About the Role
- The real world is the next frontier, and at Metropolis, we are creating the artificial intelligence to make it responsive. We are pioneering the Recognition Economy — a future where mundane repetition disappears and being known unlocks access, comfort, and belonging everywhere you go. From transforming parking into a seamless drive-in, drive-out experience for millions of Members to expanding our intelligence layer across retail and hospitality, we are building a world that feels instinctive and magical. The future isn’t coming; it’s here, and we need builders, innovators, and problem solvers to help us create it.
- Metropolis is seeking a Senior Director, Performance Marketing obsessed with harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to redefine growth. You possess a demonstrated mastery of AI tools — from leveraging AI/AGO platforms like ChatGPT and Claude to architecting custom, agentic workflows — to drive outsized, measurable results. Your experience isn't just about managing channels; it's about building a future-proof, autonomous experimentation engine that uses data, computer vision, and real-time iteration to link Member exposure directly to transactions in the Recognition Economy. You thrive on the challenge of integrating complex AI systems into a holistic, closed-loop attribution model, proving partner value, and accelerating our expansion across parking, retail, and hospitality. You thrive in fast-moving environments, balancing quality with output, and you’re energized by the opportunity to help shape and scale a function at a pivotal stage of growth. You care deeply about measurable business outcomes and will coordinate with each of our regions and divisions to drive standards and best practices.

- Build an autonomous experimentation engine that optimizes performance campaigns by generating, testing, and iterating on creative assets in real-time, focusing narratives on the irrefutable value proposition of the Recognition Economy and achieving high efficiency gains
- Establish the structure and processes to operate a centralized performance marketing function with stakeholders across geographies and product lines
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build and iterate on campaigns; partner closely with Growth stakeholders (including product line owners and leadership) to share learnings, brainstorm, and report out on results
- Partner with Data to create a measurement ecosystem that allows us to track leading indicators and KPIs throughout the funnel
- Pick up IC initiatives to maximize your impact
- When necessary, effectively manage vendors to achieve our goals

- Track record of delivering outsized results by partnering with others cross-functionally
- Best-in-class analytical skills to uncover insights and the courage to pivot strategy based on what is learned
- Deep channel expertise spanning paid social platforms, AI / AGO, SEM, affiliate marketing, and/or landing page optimization
- Agility and speed; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
- A keen business sense focused on creating financial impact for Metropolis
