About the Role
NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead for SOC Verification to lead a team focused on the comprehensive verification of our cutting-edge System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for defining verification strategies, overseeing the development of advanced UVM-based testbenches, and driving verification closure for complex SoC projects. You will mentor junior engineers, guide technical decisions, and collaborate closely with architecture, design, and software teams to ensure the highest quality silicon. This position requires a strong technical background in SoC verification, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of successfully delivering verified silicon. Your leadership will be critical in delivering robust and bug-free SoCs that power NVIDIA's innovative products in AI, automotive, and data center markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SoC verification engineers
- Define and implement comprehensive SoC verification strategies and methodologies
- Oversee the architecture and development of UVM testbenches
- Drive verification closure, including coverage and sign-off
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, design, software)
- Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 8+ years of experience in SoC verification, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
- Expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and formal verification methodologies
- Strong understanding of CPU/GPU architectures and industry-standard protocols
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers
Qualifications
- Experience with emulation and FPGA prototyping
- Knowledge of embedded software and firmware verification
- Familiarity with advanced debug techniques
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
