About the Role
NVIDIA is looking for a motivated Intern SoC Verification Engineer to join our Verification team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the challenging and critical field of System-on-Chip (SoC) verification. You will work alongside experienced verification engineers, contributing to the development of testbenches, verification environments, and test cases for complex SoC designs. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about ensuring the quality and correctness of silicon, eager to learn about advanced verification methodologies, and want to make a tangible impact on real-world products. You will have the chance to apply your academic knowledge to practical verification challenges, develop new skills in SystemVerilog and UVM, and contribute to the successful delivery of NVIDIA's innovative products in AI, automotive, and data center markets.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of UVM-based testbenches and verification environments
- Contribute to writing test cases and sequences for SoC features
- Support functional and coverage-driven verification efforts
- Help debug design and testbench issues
- Learn and apply industry-standard verification methodologies
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Familiarity with digital logic design and computer architecture
- Basic understanding of verification concepts
- Knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog
Qualifications
- Exposure to UVM methodology
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl)
- Coursework or projects in ASIC/SoC verification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
