About the Role
NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Verification Engineer to join our team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and correctness of our next-generation silicon designs. In this position, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive verification plans, creating advanced testbenches, and executing rigorous verification methodologies to thoroughly validate complex hardware blocks and subsystems. You will work closely with RTL designers, architects, and software teams throughout the design lifecycle, identifying and debugging functional issues and driving designs to tape-out readiness. This role demands a strong understanding of verification principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, bug-free silicon. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of NVIDIA's innovative products across various markets, from AI and gaming to professional visualization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans
- Architect and implement advanced UVM-based testbenches
- Create and maintain verification environments for complex IP and SoCs
- Debug functional issues and work with designers to resolve them
- Achieve verification closure through coverage analysis and sign-off
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification
- Expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM methodology
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl)
Qualifications
- Experience with formal verification techniques
- Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (e.g., PCIe, DDR)
- Experience with low-power verification methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
