About the Role
As an Account Executive for the Public Sector at UiPath, you will drive digital transformation within government agencies, educational institutions, and healthcare organizations by leveraging cutting-edge automation and AI technologies. You will be a key member of a dedicated sales team focused on understanding and addressing the unique challenges and requirements of the public sector. Your role involves developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to acquire new public sector clients, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, and consistently building a robust pipeline. You will forge strong relationships with C-level executives and IT leaders, articulating UiPath's value proposition to demonstrate how our solutions improve efficiency, citizen services, and operational resilience. Collaborating with internal teams such as Solutions Engineers and Professional Services, you will create tailored proposals to ensure successful deployments and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. This position puts you at the forefront of bringing innovative AI and automation to critical public services, directly contributing to societal betterment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to target and acquire new public sector clients (government, education, healthcare) within your assigned territory.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, to deal closure, ensuring a consistent pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and department heads, understanding their strategic initiatives and pain points.
- Articulate the value proposition of UiPath's automation platform, demonstrating how our solutions address specific public sector challenges and deliver measurable ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Solutions Engineers, Professional Services, and Legal to develop customized proposals and ensure successful deployments.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, contributing significantly to the company's revenue growth in the public sector.
- Stay informed about public sector trends, regulations, and procurement processes to effectively navigate the market and position UiPath solutions.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to network, generate leads, and enhance UiPath's presence in the public sector.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce CRM.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates on pipeline status to management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful experience in enterprise software sales, specifically targeting the Public Sector (government, education, healthcare).
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a highly competitive market.
- Deep understanding of public sector procurement processes, contracting vehicles, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience selling complex software solutions (SaaS, RPA, AI, enterprise automation) to large organizations.
- Strong ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders at all levels, and close multi-million dollar deals.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to travel as needed.
