We're looking for a pioneering Commercial Account Executive to spearhead DeepL's expansion into the Polish market. This is a unique opportunity to build our presence from the ground up in Poland, establishing DeepL as the go-to translation solution in this dynamic market. You'll be the architect of our Polish market strategy, managing all aspects of the sales process with a primary focus on landing new business deals. This is a rare opportunity to be the first boots on the ground in an exciting market. You'll be building relationships from scratch and seeing the direct impact of your work as DeepL establishes its presence in Poland. Responsibilities
- Pioneer our Polish market expansion
- You will be at the forefront of DeepL's entry into Poland, presenting our market-leading translation service to clients and eliminating language barriers across the Polish business landscape
- Build DeepL's footprint in Poland from scratch, establishing relationships with key accounts and creating a strong foundation for future growth
- Drive business development
- Become an ambassador for DeepL's products and an expert on Polish customers' needs, troubleshooting and rapidly resolving inquiries
- As a trusted partner to potential new business and incoming customers, you will qualify and convert leads and manage the entire sales cycle
- Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, pursuing upselling and cross-selling opportunities as relationships mature
- Respond to inbound prospects and customers, managing a high volume of opportunities from qualification to close
- Achieve and exceed targets
- Strive to meet and exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue goals
- Forecast and track all opportunities and customer details including use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps
- Work closely with our diverse, international, and welcoming teams from SDR to Marketing to ensure seamless market entry
Requirements
- Proven full-cycle sales experience, with a track record of building markets or territories from the ground up.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and create structure where none exists.
- Exceptional organisation, presentation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- You feel at home in a fast-paced startup environment: you're able to shift priorities and adapt to dynamic situations.
- You're excited by the challenge of pioneer work and building something new.
- You enjoy being part of a team and thrive by supporting your colleagues and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Native Polish speaker with deep understanding of Polish business culture.
- Fluency in English and German.
Qualifications
Expertise in software sales - especially SaaS - preferred.
