About the Role

NVIDIA is seeking a talented Intern Software Engineer to join our GPU Compiler team. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to the development of highly optimized compilers that translate high-level programming languages into efficient machine code for NVIDIA's state-of-the-art GPUs. You will work on various aspects of compiler design, implementation, and optimization, which may include front-end parsing, intermediate representation (IR) optimization, code generation, or performance analysis. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in C++
  • Familiarity with compiler design principles and data structures
  • Understanding of computer architecture, especially GPU architectures

Qualifications

  • Experience with LLVM or other compiler infrastructure
  • Knowledge of parallel programming models (e.g., CUDA)
  • Familiarity with performance profiling tools
  • Previous coursework or projects in compilers or operating systems
